A Glimpse of how Heaven will be!!!

So That's who stole my spirals!!

I just LOVE this woman!! She is a true woman of God and such a mentor to me!! Wish we lived closer!!

Such a darling little girl who came and memorized her scriptures!!! What discipline and at such a young age!! You go girl....you are mighty dangerous for God's Kingdom!! Keep it up!!

I won the favorite "blog" name!! It was a HUGE surprise to me....didn't know anyone even knew who I was!!! This picture is of me explaining how I got my name!! I compared the name "lopsided halos" to how whenever my mom would try and cut my bangs for school picture day, the more she tried to straighten them up the more "lopsided" they became! And that is basically my life....I keep tryin' to "help" God and more I try to "fix" my life and straighten out my life...the more lopsided it becomes....hence "lopsided halos" I hate to admit it....but I live up to this name more than I can count! But I'm learning....and each day is a new day to live in God's grace!! I'm beginning to think that maybe "lopsided" isn't so bad...it's evidence of God's grace in my life!

Eating Out!!

The Final Test....What An Amazing Site! So many women with so many truths carved in their hearts!!

Re-enacting the infamous "U-turn"!! I wasn't used to driving in Houston!! But without the U-turn we would still be trying to find our way to the church!! The u-turn became the phrase "just do a 'brittney'! Maybe the u-turn is why my halo is so lopsided!!

Beautiful women of God!!

Amen to Pappasitas being the BEST ever Mexican (well I did eat at another place West of Houston named Lupe Tortilla or something like that and their fajitas made my eyes roll back in my head - so Pappasitas ties!).

CUTE blog!!!!!

I'm gonna come back and talk to you soon. A friend of mine is in Cambodia working with little girls who are being sold by their families. My girls and I are trying to find ways to raise money to send to her. I'd love to hear more about your work there!

I love you Brittney! I was such a blast being your roomie - finally! I loved hearing your heart of compassion for others. I loved jumping on the bed with you. I loved working out with you even though you put me to shame, yes shame. And shopping in the Big City - oh my, I laughed so much I cried!

You are a jewel, a rare treasure
Hanging out with you was my pleasure!

The teens and I are planning to come to Lexington in August! Hope to see you then! I am so glad the LORD allowed our paths to cross.

Love you dearie,
Lora
